Website: www.laban.org LABAN is one of Europes leading institutions for dance artist training. In February 2003 LABAN opened its new building and the worlds largest purpose-built venue for contemporary dance. LABAN has won the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Stirling Prize in 2003. Facilities include a 300-seat theatre, 100-seat lecture theatre, 13 dance studios, and dance health facilities plus a dance science research laboratory. Conference fee Before May 1, 2005 (early registration): US$ 105 or 84 Euros After May 1, 2005: US$ 120 or 96 Euros Plus Membership Dues Conference fee for students with current student ID Before May 1, 2005 (early registration): US$ 65 or 52 Euros After May 1, 2005: US$ 75 or 60 Euros Plus Membership Dues 2005 Membership fee: US$ 35 or 28 Euros A limited amount of rooms have been reserved at the McMillan Student/Summer Village, in the area of LABAN, but no more rooms are available. On-site organizer is exploring other possibilities in another Student residency, at 15 minutes walking-distance, but will not have further news before April/May.
