TRANSPORTATION

Taxi from airport to hotel(s)

At airport, public taxis can be found on Level 2 (Arrivals).*

Taxi counters, Level 2 - Arrivals, are near entrances 3, 4, 7 and 8.

When you do reach the taxi counter with it's English speaking officials, you tell them where you want to go and they'll organise a taxi for you. They will also give you a piece of paper, which has the taxi drivers registration details on it and is your complaint form in (the fortunately fairly rare) case of any problems.

Taxis should always use the meter.
Taxi fare is metered taxi fare plus 50 THB airport surcharge, and expressway fees: THB 85.
We usually give the change as a tip, e.g. the fee meter shows 270, we pay them 300.

*Alternatively, if line is too long at Terminal, take a (free) shuttle bus to the Public Transportation Center (PTC) and then catch a taxi from there.
